Flatliner
Acrylic on canvas Three canvases 60x60cm The same image has been reproduced three times, after being digitally manipulated, distorted and defined by geometrical lines. The original photograph depicts a female figure holding their head, while in each painting from left to right dissolves into endless grids. The concept behind the distortion of lines is to simulate imaginary veins that divide the brain into memory, thoughts, creams and knowledge. I chose to create three paintings inspired by glitch art to recall the significance of my perception of three stages of the mind: self perception, exterior perception and actual reality.
